Bryce served as a free guest reviewer for our Florida based camera club's submitted images. He was GREAT! The images allowed for teachable moments and Bryce took advantage of the opportunity to teach. His succinct, concise critiques focused on improving one's skills with specific concept appropriate to the image. His Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop tips for post processing were extremely helpful to compliment the shooting tips offered. He delivered as the true professional that he is. By Dr. Mickey Swartz.
I attended a flower macro photography workshop at the Matthaei Botanical Garden in Ann Arbor, MI. The workshop was led by Bryce Denison. He was a former student of the iconic photographer, Ansel Adams. He really put me through the paces! However, I do have some outstanding images that I will be sharing soon. This particular image is what is called SOOC -- this image was straight out of camera. No editing and no manipulating. What you see is what you get. Camera was Canon EOS 7D with a Canon 180mm macro lens. Flash used was in-camera with a lens diffuser and lens hood

Bryce is really a nice guy. He is a true professional. He has done a lot of nude model photo shoots.Fabulous work and the women were beautiful. Jesus. what a job.
He was the Detroit Fire Department Photographer for several years. He had to respond take pictures at the arson squads crime scenes and fatals. He probably told you about all the terrible circumstance he had to shoot for us and some of the terrible tricks we played on him. Bryce's wife is also real sweetheart. She was a teacher in Grosse Pointe and taught my wife’s kids, Guess I could say my step children. Nice lady.
Pat Eisenberger shared Midwest Photography Workshops's post: "No online video tutorial will teach you as much as a hands on class with an experienced teacher. MPW is where I took my first photography class and it gave me a great foundation in the fundamentals that can't be found online."

I have really enjoyed and learned a lot in Bryce's classes. His knowledge and experience is priceless - and his humor keeps the mood light. Bryce really wants you to be a better photographer and you can tell he enjoys teaching.
Just completed the Fundamentals 101 class and the instructor Bryce Denison was a great instructor. His knowledge of photography and the industry surpassed my expectations. We covered a variety of topics and photography terminology, i.e f-stop, shutter speed, aperture. After the class discussion we would have homework to take what we had learned to complete our photo projects. This was a great way to make sure you understood what was covered the prior week. Bryce went over the photos and explained what he was looking for based on the assignment and helped if we missed the objective of the photo. We were provided with a syllabus and reference material at the beginning of class to help guide us through the 6-week course. There was a bonus class which showed how to take your picture to a much higher level using Lightroom and Photoshop. Thank you for that bonus. After owning a DSLR camera for several years and not using it, this class taught me how to understand my camera and take pictures in ways that opened my eyes to what was really being seen through the lens. I would highly recommend taking this class. Again, thank you Bryce and see you in the next class.

This is a testimony to YOUR photographic vision and influence and how you touch your friends with you photographic vision. However I thank you for your devotion. I am happily as of this new year retired from academia. With this Age of Narcissism it has become in some areas a blood sport and toxic. I would no longer promote that avenue to deep dive into one's creative vision in such a context of being graded and disrespected by younger faculty who are so clouded by their thinking they are the smartest person in the room and have forgotten the universal spiritual law of everyone is a sacred human being. (However there is a policy for reduced tuition and open to them with at large enrollment and details and process may be investigated by your friend.) I do recommend my friend Bryce Denison's classes at his Midwest Photography Workshop in a true community setting where photography classes are offered very specifically. And for you and all who read this, please tell Bryce that I, Marilyn the Zimmerwoman, sent you with all blessings. http://www.brycedenisonfineartphotography.com/about-mpw
